This is a fantastic heavy duty stoneware plate by Hall China.  Rustic looking and large, measures 12" diameter.  Could very well be a server. 

Pattern is known as Amano Lenox Brown, with a swirled clay rope center surrounded by a laurel leaf rim.  Great for Western or Country themes.
