Hamilton, William Albert, Jr. (1900-1984) (Lived in Altadena / Walnut Creek. California)

William Albert Hamilton Jr. was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on February 11, 1901. Hamilton moved to Los Angeles in 1915. He studied there at the Clay School of Art, Throop Institute, and privately with Edgar Payne. By 1930 he was selling his works through the Ainslie Gallery, most of which were large Post-Impressionist landscapes. 

He was often a painting partner of Gray Bartlett. He was a resident of Mission Viejo, CA at the time of his demise on December 29, 1984. Member: California Art Club; Painters & Sculptors of Los Angeles; San Fernando Artists Guild. Exhibited: Burbank Women's Club, 1950.
