This is the SNAP ON CHECKERED WOOD FOREND ASSEMBLY   off of a L.C. SMITH 1898 Hammer Gun  SxS 12GA Shotgun. Its  in  good  used condition with  handling dings & scuffs from use. It has old varnish that is peeling, new owner may want to refinish it. It has some handling dings around edges, but no cracks noticed. It snapped on the old barrel tightly.      Comes as pictured.
