Description

Paul Reed Smith (PRS) Electric Guitar Custom 24-08 10top (Gray Black) [SN.0371953]

"Custom24-08" model with custom color is now in stock! ! !

Despite repeated minor changes, the Custom 24 has continued to reign as the core model of PRS's lineup since its founding in 1985. Its perfect sound and playability have been used by various artists, and it can be said to be synonymous with PRS. That's it.

Continuing from around 2020, the latest specifications use gloss lacquer for the top coat after body coloring, so it features a different texture and live sound than previous models.

"Custom24-08" is equipped with two mini-toggle switches for coil taps corresponding to each pickup, allowing you to select as many as 8 different pickup combinations, including humbucker + single coil and dual single coil unique to this model. This model allows for a wide variety of sound variations.

Gen3 Tremolo is used for the bridge in the same model as the Custom24 model.
The PRS Tremolo has a reputation for preventing tuning errors when using the arm, but the Gen3 Tremolo has a groove cut in the part where the set screws of the bridge plate saddle are installed, and at the same time the six saddles are extremely tight. This prevents the saddle from shifting sideways and minimizes tuning errors.
In addition, we have made the bridge mounting screws larger, and left the saddle height adjustment screw, saddle mounting screw, and the part of the saddle that touches the strings unplated, contributing to rich overtones and sustain.

The pickup is 85/15, which was first adopted in the 30th Anniversary Model and is standard on the Custom24.
This pickup, which has the year numbers 1985, the year of its founding, and 2015, the 30th anniversary, is slightly different from the vintage tone pickups such as 57/08 and 59/09, and aims for a modern classic character. This is a newly developed pickup with a rich sound that combines a wide range from high end to low end and a punchy and moderate power feeling.

As for the sound, the output of the pickup itself has been suppressed compared to HFS & Vintage Bass, so subtle picking nuances are reproduced honestly, creating a clean to crunchy and pleasant edge, and yet a midrange with a presence typical of PRS. It can be said that it is a sound for players without losing any of its characteristics. Even when deeply distorted with a high-gain amplifier, the edge feeling is still intact, allowing you to enjoy the finest sound that never gets drowned out.

What we would like to introduce to you is one of the top 10 tops colored in the popular color "Gray Black."
"Gray Black" has long been one of the popular colors as a standard color, but unfortunately it has disappeared from the regular lineup as of 2023.
The long-awaited return of "Gray Black" as a custom color, combined with the finest 10 top used for the body top, creates a beautiful finish full of elegance that is unique to PRS.

This model is a custom color model that is not in the regular regular lineup, so future arrivals such as resale are undecided at this time.
