Presented here is the most unusual English Hand Made 9CT Gold Ruby Heart Poison/Locket ring set in a Victorian inspired setting.
The lid of the piece which forms the face is encrusted with lovely rich natural Rubys measuring 1.7mm & 1.5mm respectively. They represent the centre flower which opens up to the magical heart-shaped face.
Opening the secure clasp on the front of the ring reveals a secret compartment measuring 12mm x 12mm.
Working along the band is what can be described as folded gold thick scrollwork in an Etruscan style. The band at its widest point starts at 7mm tapering to 2.5mm. This makes for a very comfortable ring to wear every day.
Although the piece is by no means a large piece, it weighs in at a whopping 6.50 grams of solid 9K Gold. Bearing in mind that the average ladies ring comes in at around 2.2 grams including gemstones. You can probably see what I mean?

Made famous by the French femme fatale, Lucrezia Borgia who dispatched her suiters with poison hidden inside the ring(allegedly). In modern times they are more used for "keepsakes" and mementoes of loved ones, pictures, locket of hair etc.

We can resize most rings from size L-Q (UK) 11-17 (EU) 51-57 (USA) for a flat rate of £9.99 (UK) €14.99 Euros (EU Members) $16 (USA). Please check current Currency rates as they do fluctuate. We can also resize to other sizes for a small nominal cost. Please Email. Ring resizing normally takes between 3-7 working days added to the delivery time. We do appreciate that sometimes if the item is to be presented as an Anniversary/Birthday gift or any other special occasion you may require the item before the delivery time. We do make exceptions in these cases and can often turn items for resizing around within 1-2 days. Please liaise by e-mail with us directly if this is the case and we will do our best to accommodate. As we are a working UK jewellers not only do we resize our own rings we can also resize your independent purchases. We also engage in engraving, polishing of items. Simply email us with your requirements and we will email you with a price list and set up a separate EBay store listing for you to purchase against. 
We have tried to keep our delivery and packaging charges simple. Most items within our store/shop are normally shipped Free of Charge World Wide unless otherwise stated. Auction items are shipped at a flat rate of £6.00 with any additional items shipped together free of charge, fully insured. All items are sent insured and require a signature. Please be mindful of this if you are at work. The courier will normally leave a card for you to call to make alternate arrangements. We are fully committed to providing an excellent customer experience and as such if you are not happy with your purchase for whatever reason you may return/exchange the item to us within 7 days of receipt. We ask for the following to be adhered to.
The item must be retuned to Mondiall in its original packaging and box, unworn and with the security tag unbroken if applicable. The item must be sent by insured delivery/courier. This is important as it allows the tracking of the item. The sender bears the cost of this. Please email us for a Returns Authorisation Number and return delivery address.
Refunds are applied 7-14 days after receipt as the item needs to be inspected upon receipt by Mondiall.
