ONE 1957-1960 5F6 and 5F6-A FENDER Tweed Bassman TRIAD 45249 output Transformer. This also is factory OEM correct for a 1960-1961  Concert model 6G12. This is a clean working unit with original windings, full length, (8” non spliced and/or burnt, grafted), leads and clean shiny rust free bells..There is a bit of varnish on the leads from the V.P.I. process where transformer windings are submerged in hot varnish and then pressurized with air to force the varnish deep into the windings. This serves as insulation and moisture, (non condensing), protection and is part of the manufacturing process. You usually see evidence of the varnish on top of the laminations.

While $1495.00 may seem pricey, it accounts for only 7.5% to 10% of the cost of an original 5F6 or 5F6-A Fender Tweed Bassman and will add several thousand to an otherwise original piece.
