I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not.

These novels are in good or better conditions, both with solid spines and great or better inside pages (photo#16 examples). The 'Prelude' has more signs of wear including cover indents/depressions, 'Main Story' has fewer and lesser signs of wear in general. Due to eBay's photo limit, with lots involving multiple books, I am not always able to show the detailed looks I try to maintain, so if you would like any extra photos of a specific description/book, feel free to let me know! The TL;DR versions of each book's condition below is in blue italics, with the more in-depth collectors' paragraphs below them.

Any reference to certain areas of books can be seen in the photos above. The sections are:

*Photo#5: Lower spine corner
*Photo#6: Front cover top edge/outer corner
*Photo#7: Front cover bottom edge/outer corner
*Photo#8: Back cover top edge/outer corner
*Photo#9: Back cover bottom edge/outer corner

Abbreviations Glossary (I've been listing more and more of my books and thought this would save some time..)
*USC: Upper spine corner
*LSC: Lower spine corner
*FTOC: Front cover's top outer corner
*FBOC: Front cover's bottom outer corner
*BTOC: Back cover's top outer corner
*BBOC: Back cover's bottom outer corner

**Road To Secret EmpireGood overall condition, with a solid spine and great overall inside pages. It does have cover indents/depressions around it, although little other wear, and most of which affects the book's externals. Spine edge has 5 indents around its middle, 1 on each cover shows as a ~1.5" indent/depression, with the others bring smaller/lighter. USC has minimal wear, LSC has light compression. Front and back covers' top edges have light if any shelf-wear other than a tiny scuff on each near their middles. Their bottom edges each possess an adjacent light ~2" indents/depressions (photo#10 w/illumination example), with otherwise light if any shelf-wear/scuffing. FTOC, BTOC, and BBOC have minimal wear. FBOC has a small crease/scuff/bend/cover peel, goes thru ~20 pages as a light indent/bend. Front cover has ~seven ~1" light creases, surrounded by ~five ~2.5" light depressions, spread around it (photos#11, 12 w/illumination). Back cover has  few less, but is similar (photo#13 w/illumination). Their net result is ~8 small indents that show on pages, mostly under direct illumination.

**Secret EmpireVery good condition, with a solid spine and excellent overall inside pages. Few and lesser signs of primarily external wear. USC has light scuffing. LSC has small dings where it meets each cover - causes a ~1/2" indent/depression around the corner on the front cover (photo#14 w/illumination). Front cover's top edge has a ~1" scuff/indent near its middle, otherwise front's bottom edge and back's front and bottom edges have light if any shelf-wear/scuffing. FTOC has a tiny indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~5 pages as a corner fold and ~30 as a light bend. FBOC has a tiny indent/scuff/bend, goes thru ~15 pages lightly. BTOC and BBOC have tiny scuffs/bends. Front cover possesses a small scratch near its center.

I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit. I always pack books firmly between pieces of cardboard (among other materials/layers) via Gemini Comic mailers or bubble mailers depending on size; usually utilizing boxes for larger lots. If you have any questions or would like any additional photos, feel free to let me know. I'm always happy to combine shipping costs - either message me before completing purchase for a pre-payment price adjustment, or alternatively I can provide a refund afterwards. Thanks, and have a tremendous day!
