True vintage handcrafted slippers
- Hand-knit upper - yarn appears to be wool
- Leather (buckskin?) sole
- Insole is lined with a fleece material
Estimated to be a men's size 10 or women's size 12.
Outsole approx. 11" toe to heel, 3.25" across ball of foot
Slippers are from a Minnesota estate and appear to have been a favorite. Markings on the soles, several small holes had been mended over the years, some with yarn, some with thread - see photos 16-20.
