Wow! what a great album - bravo Galahad

“The Last Great Adventurer” is Galahad’s 11th
studio album for which the band has worked some years. This is a real
progressive rock highlight and it immediately enthused me.
The new work from 2022 offers a gorgeous band performance and much variety, atmosphere,
dynamics and melodics. Depending on the track there are powerful rocky rhythms,
magnificent symphonic orchestrations, energy-loaden instrumental parts, deep
emotional passages and epic song structures.
Stuart Nicholson is a great singer with a wonderful voice. Lee Abraham shines
with brilliant guitar playing and some stunning solos and Dean Baker with excellent keyboard work and symphonic arrangements. The
strong rhythm section consists of Spencer Luckmann on drums and Mark Spencer (Twelfth
Night/Alan Reed) on bass. Sound engineer
Karl Groom has done a masterful job and has produced an outstanding recording
quality and an exquisite stereo sound.

Studioalbum, an dem die Band einige Jahre gearbeitet hat. Dies ist ein echtes Progressive-Rock-Highlight,
das mich sofort begeistert hat.
Das neue Werk von 2022 bietet eine hervorragende Bandleistung und viel Abwechslung,
Atmosphäre, Dynamik und Melodik. Je nach Track finden sich kraftvolle rockige
Rhythmen, tolle symphonische Parts, energiegeladene Instrumentalteile, Passagen
mit emotionalem Tiefgang und epische
Songstrukturen.
Stuart Nicholson ist wie immer ein großartiger Sänger mit einer wundervollen
Stimme. Lee Abraham glänzt mit hervorragendem Gitarrenspiel und einigen umwerfenden
Soli und Dean Baker mit exzellenter Keyboardarbeit und symphonischen
Arrangements. Die starke Rhythmusabteilung wird von Spencer Luckmann am
Schlagzeug und Mark Spencer (Twelfth Night/Alan Reed) am Bass gebildet. Sound-Ingenieur
Karl Groom hat meisterhafte Arbeit geleistet und für eine überragende Aufnahmequalität
und einen exquisiten Stereosound gesorgt.
