Small but unique in  form and design. Beautiful repousse and chased decoration featuring  raised images of courtship and a pair of  musicians playing stringed instruments. Cartouches and scrolls, birds,  other diminutive forms representing flowers and urns surround the entire surface of the tea pot. Old world imagery and composition ornament. The handle is wrapped in rattan/cane; the lid has an unusually long flange which makes it tight and secure.  The tea pot is app 5 1/2" tall up to the lid handle crest; app 4" at its widest. The marks are attributed to E G. Webster & son. Very good condition overall, no dents; unpolished and tarnished.
