Rare 1815, Colonial Mexico, 1/8 Real with Crown, Date does not show-Coin!
Condition: pre-owned, used, worn copper, octavo de real (1/8) coin. Date is not legible, crown on backside indicates colonial rule year of 1815. The coin is fairly smooth with rough side edges, hard and has dark grime, embedded dirt. I have not cleaned or polished. This coin is from prominent Mexico estate in state of Chihuahua. The crown on reverse side with perhaps lettering of VW OR WW initials. See all photos for complete visual description and feel free to ask questions before purchase. I am NO expert of coinage. Rare and hard to find REALES of this caliber are getting harder and harder to find. A wonderful addition for the serious collector of fine historical coins!
