condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original
hardshell case. Made concurrently with the Ibanez Musician guitars at
Japan's famed Fujigen factory, this Greco is an impressive and expertly
crafted instrument. With a solid sen ash body, maple necks, bound
rosewood fretboards, and stock quartet of Maxon-made humbuckers, the
GOW-1500 offers a vast control set with an impressive spectrum of sonic
options.
THIS GUITAR HAS NORMAL SIGNS OF USE AND AGE, INCLUDING SOME LIGHT SCRATCHES, AND SOME TARNISHING TO THE METAL COMPONENTS. THIS PLAYS AND SOUNDS GREAT.
Both maple necks have medium C shaped profile carves with modest
shoulder. The 12 string neck profile measures .845" deep at the 1st fret
and .910" at the 12th, while the 6 string neck measures a slightly
thicker .865" at the 1st fret and .925” at the 12th. Both necks feature
bound rosewood fretboards. The scales are 24 3/4“ in length, the carved bone
nuts measure 1 11/16" in width, and the headstocks are fitted with
original Greco MG901 tuning machines that hold their pitch well and
turn very smoothly. The serial number on the back of the 6 string
headstock has a H78-prefix, translating to August of 1978
