This is a genuine Athlete Participation medal from the 1984 Los Angeles Olympic Games. 60mm diameter. This medal was one of the medals that was given to every attending athlete and team official at the Games.

This particular medal is in extremely nice condition and shows only slight darkening from age. The back (Star In Motion) is perfect with no corrosion or spots. The front (Torch) shows very light rough spots to the left of the torch but still has a uniform color. It will come in the original blue velvet presentation case and blue cardboard box.
