Quite a versatile machine, the Akai GX-400D-SS is a quadraphonic deck that could also be used for stereo and had auto reverse. Dual capstan drive with ferrite heads with really excellent specifications make this machine a great performer.
This unit has been in storage for a very long time, but still powers up.
It has various cosmetic damage to the wood case and power on-off switch has spanned off, although it still works.
