24k Gold Plated Steel Body & Mother-Of-Pearl Handle - V-Cut or Straight Cut - West Germany 1950s/60s

Beautiful example, miniature pocket-size 2.5" cigar/cigarillo cutter is a quality piece made in Solingen, Western Germany by the tobacciana firm Donatus.

Attractive decor of 24k gold-plated stainless steel body, gorgeous mother-of-pearl panel grips. The front 'V' shaped cutter cuts a wedge into the cigar cap instead of removing it, or guillotine straight cut to the sides. It features a solid suspension hoop at one end for attaching to a pocket chain or set of keys. The cutter arm is stamped Donatus Solingen, Foreign.

Arrives complete in its original cigar klipper Zigarrenabschneider box.

Measures: cutter length 6.1cm / front v-cut opening 15mm / side guillotine opening 8mm / weight: 31.78g approx.

• In very good working preloved used condition, pearl panels are in great condition, gold-plated finish is nice and bright with light wear, box has wear and creases.
