New camshaft alignment tool. This is for the “silver” 2.0T (big T) engine with 210 HP output. It is used where a Silver tool is indicated. The color you receive may vary but will not affect function of the tool. This tool should not be used for the 2.0t (little t) engine. If you are not sure which you have, ask and I can probably help you.


Install tool over #1 cylinder intake and exhaust camshafts with the #1 camshaft lobes angled in towards each other. The actual tool you are sent may vary from the picture but the functionality will be the same. When torquing the camshaft sprocket, you must hold the camshaft position to the alignment tool to prevent it from breaking the tool or changing the alignment position. The alignment tool is not designed to hold against the full torque of the camshaft bolt. Alignment tools that are broken by improperly torquing will not be accepted for return.

-Use Blue KM-6362 8396046 Alt ST-145 (North American models) for 2003 2004 2005 2006 175HP (8th Digit of Vin S), 2.0L 150HP

-Use Green EN-48366 Alt (European models) for 2007 2008 2009 150HP 175HP


Use of this tool not recommended for 175hp engine typically found in Linear sub models.
