Knight at the Tournament.
A type of breast badge that marked military exploits.
Tournaments were an integral part of state events or holidays, they marked the conclusion of agreements, weddings and royal visits.
Therefore, such badges appear to emphasize the glamor and significance of these events.
They were loved by both young future knights and those who were nostalgic for the past golden age of chivalry.

The badge shows a knight on a horse, his armor is hidden by a breech and a shield with a cross on its crest.
The knight holds a long tournament spear obliquely between the horse's ears and directs it at the opponent.
Sense of movement is enhanced by a helmet band that flutters over his helmet.
