Vintage Sony Vaio X series special edition champagne laptop that weighs 1.6 lbs., has a 2 GHz Intel Atom Z550 processor, 2GB RAM, a 128 GB SSD hard drive, and an intel GMA 500 graphics card. The laptop is in good shape, cosmetically clean, and all features work. As you can see, the paint on some of the keys has rubbed off, and I’ve placed a small piece of black gaffers tape on the top right corner, because that corner separates a little bit when you lift the top up (just annoyed me, but you can certainly take that piece off). Of course the modem—802.11n—is outdated, but works well with a strong Wi-Fi signal. The chiclet keyboard is great for writers. This one comes with an original box, both batteries (a good six-hour runtime on the larger battery), and the original power cord. I’ve kept the original Windows 7 setup, complete with MS Office 2007, but you may want to upgrade the operating system. The computer came out in 2009/10 and is underpowered, so actual usage is going to be limited (not good for Zoom meetings, for instance). That said, it’s still a very cool ultra-portable.
