The base is 4.5" square, the widest part is about 9.25" square

The round part with the eagle is loose, I removed a screw which was holding it down, but it didn't belong and made the top not centered

The lantern is magnetic, the eagle is not, probably brass and has a beautiful patina

The round metal part on the bottom is not attached and has cracks all over

The roof is painted with copper tone paint

The lantern was salvaged from a house that was built in 1926, so I assume it was installed outside approximately at the same time

Some rust, but still very sturdy
