This was made by Old Tyme Reproductions in the late 80’s, meant to resemble the red British telephone boxes that are a common sight in the United Kingdom. It is also similar to the tardis Dr. Who travels in.
The phone worked up until I retired my landline, so I believe it would still work without issue if plugged into a wall with the appropriate outlet/jack and phone service. It uses 2 AAA batteries(not included) to light the interior when the “door” is opened. The phone has the numbers “7, 8, 9, and 0” rubbed off. Otherwise the phone is in very nice cosmetic condition. No user instructions or wall-mounting hardware included.
