This pair was originally for the Japanese market. The insole is not the leather footbed but the more comfortable and soft footbed.
When the Vibram mini-lug outsoles wore out, which took a while, the outsole were replaces with the more walkable Nitrile Cork Outsole and Heel, that you find on the Iron Ranger models when they first came out.
