Note: my sister picked this up years ago while on vacation. She ended up giving it to me to sell.
This book is a beauty and one of a kind. It is a longlasting keepsake & makes a perfect gift. It will be admired for years to come!
It was sold in a gift shop at one of the exotic SOL MELIA VACATION CLUB locations around the world. Words can barely describe this beautiful scrapbook.

It is entirely handmade with all natural materials - bamboo paper, bark & leaf - from the binding to the pages inside. Very eco friendly!

It comes from a company called WBA Collections which I believe is based in Bali, Indonesia.

The cover is made from several leaf types, bean pods & bark and features 2 geckos and the name "Sol Melia Vacation Club" written with rope. The twig on the binding helps hold the book together with more rope, knotted and tied in the back.

The pages are handmade paper from bamboo and have tissue overlays. Each page holds two 4 x 6 photos front and back. Ten pages in all will hold 40 photos.

Sol Melia Vacation Club locations can be found on their website. They are in Central America, Europe, Caribbean, Mexico and more.

NOTE: There are some slight defects - edge wear and 2 indentations on the back cover. See photos 9, 10 & 11. But in person they are barely noticeable. On the front there is one tiny area where the bean pod has lifted. ( sorry - just saw it - no photo) It is about the size of a pea and could conceivably be glued down.
