Several Sport related illustrated article from a rare 1883 sports publication, the full article is entitled "Lawn Games" 

Very interesting articles on the history, development and methods of play for the relevant games

The first article is just under 7 pages entitled "Archery" with several illustrations

The second article is entitled "Badminton" approximately 3 pages including a illustration of playing the game

Thirdly "Bowls approx 4 pages

The next article is "Croquet" approx 16 pages with several illustrations and details on the laws of the game

Following this is "Lawn Billiards" just under 2 pages with details on the equipment and play

Then "Lawn Tennis" 9.5 pages with illustrations and details on the Laws of the game

The final game is "Quoits" just over a page with 3 illustrations

CONDITION Whilst the images show the article in its still bound state, the article will be sent as loose pages. 

Some pages may be showing signs of foxing / browning due to the age of the paper
