Beautiful black coat by Woodward and Lothrop in a woman’s size XL. This coat is vintage from the 1950s. It is made of a curly, silky fur from a black Persian lamb. It has a sueded leather interior that is covered by a satin embroidered lining. This coat is heavy. It has one pocket on each side and a thick collar. The closure is a few front fabric-covered hooks and loops.

Good condition for a vintage coat. There is no stains, holes, or odor. Some areas of the fur are balding. I have pictured a few of these areas but please note that there is similar light balding wear throughout. It’s most noticeable on the edges of the collar and cuffs.

Measurements laid flat (based on exterior)

Armpit to armpit laid flat 22.5 in

Length 44 in

Please note there is only the brand tag on this coat, no size tag. I wear a woman’s size 14 and this coat fits me well, and would still fit with jeans and a sweater underneath.
