17 Function USB PC gear knob truck sim button / rocker / rotary box to add to your driving sim setup. . Whilst this will work with any PC game like my other boxes i have designed it primarily with ATS and ETS2 in mind.
I have designed this box primarily for users of ETS2 and ATS who like to use the 'Real Automatic' gearbox setting in-game. This is NOT suitable for sequential shifts in racing games has it is latching and designed to be left in either the forward or reverse setting whilst driving. Made by myself using all new parts, with good quality 15mm push buttons, one 22mm chrome button, two 2-way momentary (non latching) rocker switches and two 2-way rotary encoders giving a total of 17 functions. This box also includes a latching forward-stop-back 'gear' knob toggle.
Plug and play on all versions of Windows. Windows recognises it has a USB controller.
Size of unit 95mm L x 157mm D. With a 2mtr USB cable
With two M5 mounting points to the rear of the unit. Two M5 16mm bolts are included which are suitable for mounting through up to a 5mm thick surface. For thicker surfaces longer bolts will be required. 3mm allen key required for bolts.
Fully tested prior to dispatch, and sold with a 90 day warranty. Any problems within this time, return the box and i will test it and if found to be faulty i will refund your return postage costs and repair the item or send you a replacement, free post.

Q) I have seen some USB button boxes which use locking / latching toggle switches and buttons but I see you only use momentary, non latching switches. Why is this ?
A) Locking switches are all well and good in the automotive and aviation world but not so good for gaming. This is because most games see locking switches has the 'button' being held down rather then just pressed and released, which can cause problems in many games.
Q) I like your boxes but non of them quite fit what I am after. Could you make one up to a different specification ?
