The sale is for a maybe 1960s uncommon MCM vtg. Arzberg Germany Formentwurf white porcelain modernist ribbed design with gold trim tea set. Sold as is, as found and as you see it. TThere is he set includes teapot with lid, sugar bowl with lid, creamer, six cups and six saucers; 17 pieces total. In good condition with no chips. Teapot: has an unusual form. Lower part has a vertical ribbed design. Gold trim. The top finial has a stretched out appearance and gold on top. Teapot has a mark on underside Formentwurf within a box with an unreadable printed signature. Arzberg, Germany 4131 26. Theres a flaw on base on bottom outside like a dip in the glaze, a small hole on the underside ridge and underside, a very brief hairline. All are in the same place and appears as a manufacturers flaw; see pics. shelfwear. The color could be white or off white. It looks like set was hardly used overll. The gold trim will have tarnish due to age. Teapot is 7.75" X 9 7/8" X 5" X 2 2/8" opening. Sugar/creamer: both in good condition, no chips/cracks, tanish in gold. The sugar bowl has spoon hole in lid. Did not come with a spoon and probaably never did. Dimple in ceramic on creamer underside: made that way. Sugar has similar design top as teapot. Sugar measures 3.5" X 5" X 2 3/8". Creamer is 4" X 3 3/8" X 2.5" opening. The cups; good condition. Measures 4" X 2 7/8" X 2 7/8". Saucers in good condition. Measures 5 7/8". All gold on all pieces will maybe have tarnish.
