LOT OF THREE: 2020-W V75 Privy 1 Oz Proof Silver American Eagle End Of WWII 75th Anniversary  NGC PF 70 EARLY RELEASES

This 2020-W V75 Privy 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle NGC PF 70 commemorates the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII. This Proof Silver Eagle contains .999 fine silver and weighs 1 troy oz, just like the previous Silver Eagle releases. However, this special edition proof silver American Eagle stands out with its limited mintage of only 75,000 coins! The 75,000 mintage is a nod to the 75 years that have passed since the end of WWII. Additionally, this Silver Eagle coin features a unique V75 privy mark and bears a “W” mint mark to signify its origins at the West Point Mint. Increasing its collectibility.

NGC  has graded this coin a perfect PF 70. Because this is the first year that American Eagles feature a special privy, they will be cemented in US Mint history for years to come. Be sure to purchase your 2020-W V75 Privy 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle soon before they fly off the shelves for good!

The 2020-W1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle differs from other Silver releases due to the V75 privy mark stamped on its surface. The letter “V” for “Victory” celebrates the Allies’ victory during the war, and the number 75 denotes the 75th Anniversary of WWII’s end. Also, the V75 privy mark outline matches the shape of the Rainbow Pool, part of the World War II Memorial located in Washington, DC.

The obverse of the 2020-W V75 Privy 1 oz Proof Silver American Eagle features Adolph A. Weinman’s ‘Walking Liberty’ design, first used on the 1916 half dollar. Lady Liberty walks to the coin’s left towards the rising sun with her arm outstretched. She cradles olive and oak branches in her other arm. The word “LIBERTY” is inscribed along the rim of the coin, along with the year of issue, the phrase “IN GOD WE TRUST”, and the special V75 privy mark.

The coin’s reverse displays the John Mercanti design of the US National Coat of Arms. A bald eagle spreads its wings wide and holds arrows and an olive branch in its sharp talons. The eagle also grasps a banner in its beak which reads “E PLURIBUS UNUM”. On the eagle’s chest is a shield bearing the US flag. 13 stars representing the original 13 colonies shine above the eagle’s head. The weight, purity, denomination, West Point mintmark, and country’s name are inscribed around the rim.
