An original riverscape watercolour of Itchenor in 1911 signed by Charles Edward Dixon R.I. (1872-1934), titled and dated recto lower left. This view from the foreshore overlooking what would later be the Itchenor Sailing Club and the surrounding riverscape, is a rarer view and size, perhaps a personal painting. Size including mount 7.25" x 13.75" or 18.5 cms x 35 cms; visible area 3.5" x 10.25". Pencil text to verso refers to a Mr S(D)ax Windham with a mount colour instruction. Watercolour with bodycolour and pen. Itchenor is near Chichester, West Sussex.

Used. Currently held within an old frame and mount of no commercial value. No mount burns.

For reference a similar work was sold in Christie's November 2014 Maritime Sale for £3000.

Packaging: As far as possible WE recycle as much outer and inner packaging as possible whilst making sure that your valued purchase is safe. This is not only environmentally friendly but keeps down the high cost of new packaging. WE ship with glass removed for safety and to comply with shippers rules. 

Tax and Import Duty: YOU the  buyer are  strictly liable for the payment of any taxes or duties for all purchases. ref: Incoterms® 2010 Delivered at Place DAP named place. 

Insurance: WE undertake to insure the risk of loss or damage whilst in transit to you. If your delivery arrived damaged do not sign for it. We will pursue all claims via our carrier and within 60 days refund in FULL your purchase payment. We DO NOT alter the invoice value. 

Finally, all items are described as honestly as possible but would ask you to take reasonable care in evaluating your purchase. Most of our goods are NOT NEW and WE point out any defects as far as is reasonably possible. OUR view is that  WE would want to buy from OUR site.
