This vintage flag of the Vatican (or Holy See) is made from an early synthetic fiber in a fine 'corded' or grosgrain texture.  Please note staining and other wear from age.  Design is fully sewn, including detailed emblem which is visible from both sides, and finished with gold fringe.  A pole pocket with leather tabs on left side allows for optional mounting to a rod or flagpole.  Made in USA by the former Dettra Flag Co.  Mid 20th century.
