vintage road bike frame 1930's?
badged up as a Maclean Featherweight? but I'm struggling to confirm this with the frame number and lugwork, also the badge style and address postcode are for London SE20, not consistent with the available information on Maclean's.
Couple of suggestions that it may be early Holdsworth?
takes a 26.6mm seatpost
Has been restored and has had a nice respray but has a couple of scratches, see pictures
54 cm steel lugged frame ctt
top tube 57.5 cm ctc
re-chromed handlebar stem clamp with smooth headset
grease nipples on head tube and bottom bracket shell
rear derailleur mount is forward of the drop outs for presumably a Simplex Rigidex or similar mech as there is a spring attachment braze on forward of this
rear drop out 110 mm
front fork 95 mm
frame number 03721
respray is finished as a flamboyent red with slide on decals, looks professionally done
any information regarding the frame would be appreciated
weight
no idea what frame it is but seems pretty good quality
