GRADING: More of an art than a science. The majority of my books are older and out of print titles - mostly children and juvenile. Sorry, they just do not look new anymore. Age should be taken into consideration. Here are my guidelines:

Fine: Like new with little or no use. Will show some use in older books

Very Good: Average used book. Light shelf wear and use. Any notable flaws will be noted

Good: Used and worn copy. Will show wear to binding and interior. May be ex-lib or have writing. Defects will be noted. This is not a high grade. Not for gifts.

Fair/Reading Copy: Can still be read and enjoyed. Faulty copy. Heavy wear both externally and internally. May be repaired. Text will be complete but may be missing preliminary pages or plates. Usually offered because they are scarce or significant titles.
