The adapter is non permanent, and when removed, the lens has a "T2" mount and it can be very easily and cheaply adapted to pretty much any camera available today. I have personally used this lens on my Canon 80d, a Sony A6300 and a Panasonic G6 and GH5! There are T2 adapters available inexpensively for the following systems and more:

Adapters are in plentiful supply on ebay, just ask if you require any advice!

The lens is a manual optic and hence focusing and aperture must be adjusted manually but the camera will still provide automatic exposure! I recommend using the camera in liveview mode for focusing as you can zoom in and get the focus just right! I even use this manual focusing technique with my autofocus lenses if I have time as it often results in sharper focus than the camera can manage by itself!
