Here's a hard-to-find Covered Compote.  Made by Belmont Glass ca. 1881.  The pattern is called Royal #1.  At well over 140 years of age it's a true antique.  Imagine this age.  This is the double handled covered Ball Footed Covered Compote.  Measurements are:  9”D x 10 1/2”D H2H x 9”T.  It's in excellent condition. There is one tiny nip on the bottom edge. See photo.   Clarity is brilliant. No cracks, and no stains or mineral deposit.   Any unusual white or dark spots in the photos are from camera glare.  This will make a great accessory to any Victorian home.   64022420144
