Hand-crafted.

Strong curve with gold cut accents on the face with slightly raised enamel P.E.O.

The star border is also wonderful.

Definitely 1800's.

Tested 14K gold.

Thin gold and large size (15/16" x 1") are indicative of 1800’s.

T-bar hinged pin slips into a C-clasp.

The pin does not go further than 90 degrees and the C-clasp does not have a lifting lock. (Again, indicative of an early pin)

Exquisite hand engraved details on the back. So much so, that I cannot make out what it says.
