I have now removed the hood from the car. I lubricated the joints a bit with releasing spray to get it to fold down as I don’t think it’s been lowered for a while.

But it will need you to carefully move it forward and backs number of times to get it to sit a bit lower, ( in my opinion) Applying more lubricating spray to the joints should make it easier to lower. But you don’t want to over force it and break the glass.

Because of it not sitting as low as it should atm I am reducing the price.
