 You are looking at a 1970's / 1980's era AKG model D310S dynamic cardioid microphone with outstanding sound characteristics and used primarily for vocals with it's warm, smooth tone. Just the right amount of bass. A very smooth tone with an excellent frequency response and it can be used as a general broadcasting microphone or for singing purposes. It has a 100% output and it comes with the mic clip shown.

 Pic # 2 shows this very model in an older AKG catalog showing it's basic characteristics. The AKG mics were almost always very high quality and known for their durability and superb sound.

 As you can see there is almost no wear on the painted champagne gold finish of this mic. One of the nicest examples I have personally seen over the years. The front screen is metal and has zero indentations, odors or tarnish. An original inner screen liner is still present and works great with zero rips or holes. This D310 is a true 9 on a scale of 1 - 10 physically speaking.

 The D310 did not come with the on / off switch. If you need a D310 model with an on / off switch the D310S will be a better option for you. I do have a D310S for sale currently.

 The mic is uni-directional and is great at cancelling out any background noise. Again...a superb mic for any live performance and worth every penny.

 Mic takes a standard XLR cable which is not included but easy enough to find. The XLR pins were cleaned on this mic giving it a perfect signal with no unwanted feedback or distortion.

 The mic comes with a mic clip that grips the mic firmly and will screw onto any mic stand. The clip gives a wide degree of tilt up and down. Mic clip shows no wear works perfectly.
