74x69mm Vintage horse brass commemorating the wedding of Princess Diana and Prince Charles. The modelling is pretty naive as is usually the case with horse brasses.

Horse brasses are an old English tradition that became particularly popular in the 19th Century.  They were originally used on working heavy horses and draft horse's harnesses like Shire horses but they became popular souvenirs, every English village pub had brasses as decorations and many of the traditional ones still do.
