The printer can be shared among any or all of the computers on your Network with Optional Jetdirect Network Interface. It will print at 600 dpi. The HP Laserjet 4 with its automatic I/O will simultaneously support connections to its serial, parallel and Optional ethernet ports. This printer is supported under Win 95, Win 98, Win Me, Win NT, Win 2000, Win XP and many other Operating Systems. This printer is inexpensive to use, you can get a recycled toner cartridge for anywhere between $30-$60.
