For sale today is the out-of-print (oop) Marvel Comics trade paperback (tpb)/graphic novel Uncanny X-Men: Birth of Generation Hope by Matt Fraction and Whilce Portacio, published in 2010.

Collects Uncanny X-Men #526-529 and Uncanny X-Men Heroic Age (2010). Written by MATT FRACTION and ALLAN HEINBERG. Art by WHILCE PORTACIO, JAMIE McKELVIE, STEVEN SANDERS and OLIVIER COIPEL. Cover by TERRY DODSON. After the events of SECOND COMING, the X-Men's world has changed. I am not an official comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not.

This copy is in good to very good condition, with a solid spine and great inside pages (photo#13 example). Other than an indent around one outer corner, it has few and lesser signs of primarily external wear.

**Photo#4:

-Upper spine corner: Scuffing/compression around it.

**Photo#5:

-Lower spine corner: Light scuffing, tiny ding where it meets the back cover.

**Photo#6:

-Front cover top edge: Small ding/depression near spine corner, shows on ~5 pages. Otherwise, little if any shelf-wear/scuffing.

-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/5 pages as a light bend.

**Photo#7:

-Front cover bottom edge: Tiny scuff near edge's middle, otherwise little if any shelf-wear/scuffing.

-Outer corner: Small indent/depression/scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/3 pages as a tiny indent, and thru ~1/2 as a light bend.

**Photo#8:

-Back cover top edge: Tiny scuff near outer corner, otherwise little if any shelf-wear/scuffing.

-Outer corner: ~1/2" indent web/scuff/bend (photo#10 w/illumination), goes thru ~12 pages as a light indent.

**Photo#9:

-Back cover bottom edge: Light if any shelf-wear/scuffing around it.

-Outer corner: Small scuff/bend, goes thru ~1/4 pages as a light bend.

**Additionally: Front cover possesses 4 tiny/light indents/depressions around its lower half. Light vertical bend/curl near spine edge (photo#11 w/illumination). Back cover has a light ~1" indent/depression near the bottom edge (photo#12 w/illumination), shows as a small/light indent on ~1/2 pages.
