Offered here is an original painting by Swiss artist Fanny Brügger.  Painting is signed upper right and dated 1940.  Painting measures ~18 x 21 3/4 inches.  The overall framed size is ~20 1/2 x 24 inches.

Condition is good in later wood framing.  Painting has light repair and a few touch-ups.  Surface shows light scattered craquelure.

Fanny Brügger (1886-1970) was born in Frauenfeld, Switzerland and died in Zollikon, Switzerland.  She was a post impressionist of all subject matter but is best known for her figural paintings.
