The device is designed in such a way that it allows you to achieve excellent overload even on pickups with low output voltage and low sensitivity. For sensitive pickups, the gain knob level is usually enough to 1/4. The device is battery powered from a 9V 6F22 element. To avoid discharge, the battery is connected only when the Jack input connector is turned on.
