This adapter allows you to mount your select Escort/Beltronics/Cobra permanently to your windshield. It is a lower profile design so that the radar detector can be mounted higher and out of sight as well as provide a better line of sight for lower vehicles. Mounting it on the top of the windshield will also prevent it from theft as it is harder to see from outside the vehicle. This mount adapter offers 3M tape that will outperform the suction cup in colder and hotter weather conditions so that your radar detector does not fall from the windshield causing damage to your car or detector or wiring harness. The mount adapter is made by injection molding with polycarbonate (PC) to offer a flexible, strong and reliable mounting solution. The teeth on the mating surfaces between the adapter and magnet will allow many angle adjustments as offered on the original EZMag mount.

The listing DOES NOT include the radar detector, magnet, or hardware. You will need to reuse the magnet, M5 carriage bolt, M5 thumbnut and washer from your original mount. This listing includes the adapter piece with 3M tape pre-attached, instructions and an isopropyl alcohol wipe.
