I bought this years ago. It's still looks great. Heavy, over 5 lbs. Stands 24" tall to the top of the finial. Wood base, I can't say with certainty what the red part is made of but the coral color itself is a glossy paint. No shade. The black shade which came with it would be my choice again even though it's the only black lamp shade I ever owned. After a few years of dusting it just needs a clean new replacement. While photographing, I noticed for the first time ever a likely repair. See the last couple of photos. How so many people over many years never noticed at all. Aside from that it's in great condition, wiring and such is as well. The finial on top is a great touch. No makers mark so even though well made and heavy I would be surprised if it's Hermes which this looks very much like. Additionally the black base on this one is flat, not scroll looking.
