    Steps to replace the blower motor

    1.Shut off the electrical power supply to the blower motor.
    2.Remove the panel covering the blower motor on your furnace.
    3.Locate and remove the bolts or screws securing the motor housing to the frame.
    4.Disconnect motor wires from main unit.
    5.Slide out blower motor and replace new blower motor unitle.
    6.Slide motor and its housing back into furnace and secure in place with bolts,Reconnect electrical wires.
    7.Restore power to unit and test the new motor.

     

    Some symptoms of a heater core leak are:
    * you are losing coolant when the heater is used.
    * you are NOT losing coolant when the heater is NOT used.
    * you can smell antifreeze when the heating is on.
    * you can see condensed vapour exiting vents when the heating is on.
    * your car's footwell carpet is wet.
    * windows steam up with soapy-looking film.

     

    How to Replace The Heater Core?

    1. Make sure the engine and cooling system are completely cool.
    2. Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
    3. Set a catch pan under the engine, and drain the cooling system. Store the coolant for disposal later.
    4. Start by removing the lower dash panel and have a look with a flashlight.
    5. Disconnect the two heater inlet/outlet hoses at the firewall.
    6. Plug all the open lines and fittings to prevent contaminating the cooling system. 
    7. Remove the temperature blend door actuator, then disconnect any remaining electrical connectors.
    8. Remove the plastic heater core cover. 
    9. Remove the mounting fasteners from the heater core. 
    10. Pull the heater core away from the firewall, being careful not to damage the tubes.
    11. Installation is the reverse of removal.
    12. Use new O-rings in the A/C connections to ensure a water-tight seal. 
    13. Refill the cooling system and bleed air out. Have the A/C system charged.
