My Vintage Girls scout Uniform is in great condition and could be ready for another 3 years of service! The green chambray is a permanent press cotton as is the dark green sash, The yellow bow tie is cotton with the "G" embroidered on each side, and the straight pin works, on reverse. Many patches adorn the sash as I never missed a meeting and I can still build a great campfire SAFELY as well as hike up the hill. The arm sash is pinned on the left shoulder and easily removed.  The original belt does not have the elasticity it had in 1965 but it is wearable and it opens and closes well. The hemline is neatly sewn and all the buttons are on and firmly attached. 

From neck to hemline is 29" ~ Underarm to underarm measures 14" , waist is 12.5"  ea. armhole 7" . Girls Scout age was from 4th-6th grade so approx. 7-10yrs. old and size M Girls, describes this dress uniform.  There are no tags. The 2 100% wool dark green berets are soft and have some ID written inside "100% Lamb wool" if legible.

One is 18"diameter the other a bit smaller.  The larger one has small 2mm or less holes from storage.  

 Also, the belt is drawn on the full dress photo as I did not include it in the first photo but it Does come with uniform!

A Real collector's item and a Rhode Island patch on sash that can be removed if needed.
