c 1920 Foley China (Elijah Brain and Co Ltd) hand painted, fluted art deco tea trio pattern #V302.
E Brain and Co produced at the old Foley China pottery works in Fenton, Staffordshire from 1903 to 1963.
This brilliant trio bears hand painted blue flowers with yellow and green highlights on a lustrous, bright white background. Gold banding around the edges on all pieces.The contrasting square side plate works very well with the standard round cup and saucer.
Dimensions:
Cup 7 cm tall and 9.5 cm across from edge of cup to outer edge of the handle.
Saucer 14 cm diameter.
Side plate 17 cm square.
All pieces are in excellent original antique condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or restoration that I can identify.
All pieces bear the Foley China E Brain and Co Ltd, fine bone china, made in England back stamp, only the cup bears the hand painted pattern #V302.
