The item is sold as is, as found, and as you see it. The sale is for a signed oil on canvas painting by artist G. Gladwell. The painting has a lady figure in street scene, maybe a stagecoach, trees, flowers, and architecture. Signed on right corner in blue, G. Gladwell. Theres a gold painted wood inner frame, then a linen or cloth frame. The outside is more of a frame with raised decoration in the corners. The painting itself is in good condition: no puncture holes, chipping, or crazing. It may be an impressionistic style painting. The gold inner frame; a few marks on the right upper side and one on top near right corner. A few nicks on the right side outside frame. Nicks in wood n lower edge and a few scuffs on same edge. A lighter gold spot on top edge left side. Nicks on the sides and dirt in crevices. The frame is gold painted probably with an antique finsh to give it an aged appearance. Some light spots in places due to age/use and can also at times be made that way. The linen could be dusty or lightly soiled due to age/use. Backside; gold overpaint stain spots. Style sticker on top, staples in wood in places. Dirty on back canvas. Corners of gold in frame could have light scuffing. Theres a backplate on canvas backside on bottom thats upside down, maybe previous owner's business. Also has a stamp Hecko in Mexico.
