This is the complete set – every issue ever published – of the classic, long-out-of-print, and now-rare U.S. WWI Aviation Journal, Cross & Cockade. It is a must-have for any WWI aviation enthusiast, and complete sets have become very hard to find. Each of the 26 volumes (except for the final volume) consists of four quarterly issues, each of about 100 pages. The only exception is that the last volume (1985) only published two issues. Each issue is packed with original, well-researched articles and lots of original black and white photos from the 1914-1918 period. Please note that this is the original highly valued U.S. version of Cross & Cockade, and not the British Cross & Cockade Journal that appeared later. Also bear in mind that some of these issues are now nearly 65 years old, so they will show some wear and tear and an occasional loose page. However, all issues are completely readable and generally in excellent condition. We will send the entire collection to the buyer free of shipping. This can be a unique addition to your library.
