0xEAE Boost is a booster pedal created in collaboration with design group Obstructures.
The distinctive enclosure designed by Obstructures combines tastes of ``utilitarianism,'' ``elegance,'' and ``neo-brutalism,'' with a respect for the iconic fuzz pedals of the 60s and 70s.
Inspired by its unique shape, the sound design is unique and cannot be described within the framework of existing boosters.

The overwhelming presence of a unique object that cannot be ignored.
It is no exaggeration to say that it is more than just a musical instrument device, it is the ultimate weapon for the apocalypse.

■Overview
The collaboration between Electronic Audio Experiments and design group Obstructures began in late 2017 with the goal of developing a pedal with an enclosure and atmosphere that no one else had achieved.
Combining Obstructures' signature neo-brutalist taste with homage to the iconic sloped enclosures of Sola Sound, WEM, and Interfax, the result is an indestructible object of musical performance.

The sound is also heavily inspired by this unique design and has a very unique texture.
0xEAE Boost is a versatile signal booster/overdrive with razor-sharp high frequency response and massive output levels.
The configuration, centered around a discrete operational amplifier, induces high-frequency intermodulation, producing an extremely powerful and detailed treble boost.
And by combining active and passive tone controls, we achieved a wide (too wide) sound character.

When used alone, it produces excessive saturation and high frequencies.
It also goes great with distorted amps and drive pedals, instantly bringing any setup into the underground world.
With a huge output volume, the rear pedal can easily transform into a monster distortion.
And it has a texture that can't be compared to anything else, which doesn't change the character drastically, but rather gives it a sense of wildness and melancholy.

A one-of-a-kind boost object that cannot be destroyed no matter how harshly it is used on tour, on stage, on the road, or in the studio.
