appx 1933-36, based on yello circle mark & honey cured briar
Note: if the number is to coincide with the catalog, & some of you would know, the number would be a Prince of Wales. It doesn't look like Prince of Wales, from info based on the Yello-Bole catalog we have.
Comes with the original Yello-Bole honey seal, which we have NOT removed, winning bidder has that honor & looks to have nice yello cake.

"Yello-Bole is entirely unlike other pipes, the first few smokes from a Yello-Bole never taste raw. This is because the bowls are "caked" with real honey which mingles with the tobacco and gives a seasonal flavor to the first few smokes.
The honey in the bowl also carbonizes the briar, forming a cake quicker which, in turn, mellows the smoke."
"Every Yello-Bole pipe has a permanent, aluminum scoop-filter. Tars and moisture condense out of the smoke and are deposited the filter. The scoop may also be used to remove ashes and residue from the bowl." Unknown what type of filter tenon this is, other than push. ((note: unknown what type, if any, filter the pipe has))
